Six Words (inspired by The Ballerina Project)
In the Spring, while we were in Berlin, my friend Rachel told me about the Ballerina Project, a series of ballerina pictures being shot against various backdrops in New York City. As I browsed some of the striking images online and thought of my tutu loving daughter, I thought we could do The Ballerina Project Berlin. Today I needed some inspiration for a six word friday post on the theme of change. So in the spirit of evolving, here are my six words and our take on the Graffiti Ballerina.
Be Yourself. Let Go. Have Fun.
Speaking of ballerinas and tutus, if you're in the Greater Toronto Area, consider donning a Tutu (optional!) and heading out to a fundraiser with Catherine Connors (Her Bad Mother) next Friday (or just making a donation online) for a young single mother and student whose son has been diagnosed with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and who needs money for braces for her child. See Bad Moms Are Always Ready to Bust Out Their Tutus and Party For A Cause for details.

Good, important advice.
That is excellent advice. I have trouble with the "let go" part. The rest, I'm cool with. But letting go is a struggle.
Thankfully there's the occasional graffiti ballerina to remind me. :)
Those are great words to live by!
That right there captures just about everything that is lovely about childhood--and everything that I aspire to regain in adulthood. Just gorgeous.
Love this. What a perfect picture to go with those six words.
