This Weekend, I Celebrated

 

I'm humbled and thrilled to have been awarded first place in family and parenting, first place in feminism and second place in activism and social justice in the 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards.

Over the past year, the 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards saw 492 weblogs nominated across 34 categories. Our 34 volunteer jurors worked hard over the course of this November and December using our 10 criteria to judge each of the 492 weblogs in the first round and each of the approximately 170 weblogs in the second round to arrive at our winners.

Thank you to everyone who reads, shares and comments on my blog on a regular basis. Thank you to the Canadian Weblog Awards jury for your high praise of my work and for all the work you do going through the many amazing nominees. Thank you to Elan Morgan for the beautiful design for my blog, which has been an exceptional complement to my writing. Congratulations to all the other nominees, finalists, and winners in this year's Canadian Weblog Awards. I'm honoured to be in your company.
