Making Jen's Day...

I love great social media campaigns, especially spontaneous and creative ones. The other day, my friend Jen (@JenBanksYEG) responded to a call for help from a charity. That led to an idea and a request. You can read about it here at Make Jen's Day. I could tell you what it is all about, but I'd really like you to read her story and her request.

This, Jen, is my response to your request...

Now homeless people in Ottawa looking for a shower after being stuck outside in the extreme heat will have six more fluffy big towels to use.

Will you Make Jen's Day too?

The best way to reduce/reuse/recycle is to make sure what you don't need makes its way to someone who needs it. It takes more effort but it has a bigger impact. I celebrate your efforts!!!

That's so great to see people who are sacrificing for the good of those less fortunate. And it's so great how social media is powerful enough to help that process along.

What an awesome way to use social media to help a charity out that was in need of new items. I am learning the ropes of social media, as I know that is the way the future is going to be.
