Making Jen's Day...
Saturday, July 21, 2012
I love great social media campaigns, especially spontaneous and creative ones. The other day, my friend Jen (@JenBanksYEG) responded to a call for help from a charity. That led to an idea and a request. You can read about it here at Make Jen's Day. I could tell you what it is all about, but I'd really like you to read her story and her request.
This, Jen, is my response to your request...
Now homeless people in Ottawa looking for a shower after being stuck outside in the extreme heat will have six more fluffy big towels to use.
Will you Make Jen's Day too?

Oh wow! I don't even know what to say. Speechless. Thank you for sharing the love. Happy to know you :)
The best way to reduce/reuse/recycle is to make sure what you don't need makes its way to someone who needs it. It takes more effort but it has a bigger impact. I celebrate your efforts!!!
Way to go, Annie. This is one of the things I love most about social media.
Excellent efforts! Thank God for the internet and social media! The power of communication when used wisely makes a wonderful impact on the lives of those who need help! Well done.
That's so great to see people who are sacrificing for the good of those less fortunate. And it's so great how social media is powerful enough to help that process along.
What an awesome way to use social media to help a charity out that was in need of new items. I am learning the ropes of social media, as I know that is the way the future is going to be.
